BEGINNER’S SERIES: THE BASICS OF YOGA + MINDFULNESS

SUNDAYS, January 6TH - february 10TH   |   4:00 - 5:30PM    |    ERICA SEAVER-ENGEL

More and more people are discovering the benefits of yoga.  Whether you are interested in flexibility, strength, stress reduction or balance, this Beginner Series will support you in learning the fundamentals of yoga in a systematic, non-threatening way. This 6-week series will cover the basics of breath awareness and different types of yoga postures (asanas).  Throughout the session we will encourage a healthy connection between breath and posture, increasing body awareness, and ease in movement.  The class will also explore relaxation techniques to increase your sense of well being and balance.

Class meets for 90 minutes of instruction (divided into discussion & practice), across the span of 6 weeks.

Limited to 8 students

Taught by Erica Seaver- Engel

Tuition: $75

Upon completion receive 10% off a 5 or 10 class pass

Join us for the Inaugural meeting of Meditate Fayette,

A meditation community. Guided meditation practice and discussion of various types of mindfulness meditation will be offered to help gain insight to be more mindful and present. Meetings will focus on Insight (Vipassana) Meditation. All levels of meditators are welcome to help this community grow! For more information, visit www.meditatefayette.org
