Chair Yoga for Inner and Outer Well Being
Chair yoga promotes well-being through breath awareness, movement, and relaxation in ways that can support daily quality of life. Accessible practices increase resilience, stability, and balance. Class includes a combination of seated and standing yoga poses along with breathwork and mindfulness practice.

Full Hunter's Moon Flow - a Complete Hatha Practice | October 13th | 7-8:30 PM | $15 Drop in
Join us for a complete Hatha Yoga practice in honor of the Full Hunter's Moon. A time to release what no longer serves you, and take aim at your highest goals.
This Himalayan Tradition inspired practice includes asana flow, pranayama, guided relaxation & meditation. A complete 90-minute practice!
Please sign up ahead of time so we can secure any special supplies for everyone, thank you!
Location: Meet at The Yoga Garden to check-in. We HOPE to practice on the rooftop of the South Street Parking Garage under the Full Moon. If weather is inclement, practice will go on inside our cozy studio, & the Full Moon vibes will still be felt.
Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Clothing: Please dress in comfortable clothing. Wear layers in case it's chilly outside, or if we move inside you can adjust to the warmth of the space.
What to Bring: A yoga mat & a firm blanket if you have one.
All levels of experience are welcome - if you require special accommodation, please contact us ahead of time.
Cost: $15 and a portion of the proceeds will go to a Local Animal Rescue Center.

Autumn Ayurveda & Yoga Practices: Strengthening Immunity | October 26th | 10:15-12:15 AM | $30
Gather ideas & simple practices to build strength & immunity. The Ayurveda & Yoga Sciences offer a wide variety of practical tips for everyday life ... no expensive retreat required!
In this workshop, we will practice gentle movements to build agni, or internal heat, & also store it intelligently for the winter season. These simple movements, practiced consistently over time, increase Both vitality & a sense of ease in the body. Both chair & floor options offered.
In addition, we will discuss & experience several daily lifestyle habits from the Ayurvedic tradition. Whether you have 2 minutes or 30 minutes, you'll walk away with techniques to build / sustain your inner well-being during this changing season.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. Layers are recommended. A pair of thin cotton socks you don't mind getting oily are recommended but not required. Class will be a mix of gentle movement & discussion. Bring what your body needs to be comfortable. A notebook & pen are helpful tools too!
Workshop fee includes take home educational materials, as well as simple supplies to start / continue your immunity-building practices. If financial assistance is required, please contact us.

Flocking for a Cure
a day of wellness, pampering, and medical marijuana education for breast cancer patients, survivors, and families. This event is taking place in two locations on Main Street and is free and open to the public.

Mental health professionals will answer questions about anxiety, PTSD and emotional wellbeing.

Hip Hop Yoga Flow | October 27th | 7-8 PM | $12 or drop in
Channel your inner yangster with this non-traditional yoga class, set to hip-hop and modern rap music. Created to be playful, fun, and body-positive, we will ‘dance’with the music using our breath, find our inner child, and get a movement-heavy vinyasa flow in the process. Upbeat and carefully choreographed to the music, we hope to see you there!

Before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, take some time for yourself to relax and recharge. Slow down, come together, and connect with yourself and others through this gratitude focused Day Retreat. Move your body in a Flow & Yin class lead by Courtney Rae, enjoy a yummy plant-based lunch to fuel your vessel, calm your mind with a Reiki-Infused Meditation lead by Crystal Lax, then finish with a connection circle to help lead you in personal growth. Beginner's Series - Intro to Yoga Asana, Breath & Relaxation
Classes held Sunday's January 12th -February 16th | 4-5:30 PM | Tuition $85
Begin your yoga journey in 2020! Classes in this 6-week series explore traditional yoga postures, breathing practices, and relaxation techniques. Learn ways to use your own intuition to self-adjust poses for ease & challenge in your unique body. Basic breath & relaxation techniques soothe the nervous system & calm the mind. Build confidence to move forward in your yoga practice, but also to move forward into your daily life more embodied & with purpose.
